MANAGING EDITOR OF 29SECRETS
Full disclosure: I’m insanely picky when it comes to foundation and it’s been a long (long) journey through my makeup-wearing years to find the one that doesn’t make my skin freak out. My requirements include but aren’t limited to being lightweight but pigmented and something that doesn’t fade off before I’ve even had my second coffee (which is earlier in the day than I care to admit—I really love my coffee). When the L’Oréal Total Cover came across my desk, I have to admit the creamy, almost-moussey texture made me skeptical, but once I applied it, I realized that it’s got the winning combination that’s been missing from my life. The blendable lightweight formula conceals everything I want covered, but let’s my skin breathe with a natural not-cakey finish. Plus, it makes me look awake, even if I haven’t had coffee number one yet.
WRITER / PERSON
Despite being a 31-year-old grown-ass woman, I break out because of laziness (sometimes I fall asleep with my makeup on—deal with it), touching my own face (like a child), and PMS (because spoiler alert: it never gets better). So! I will accept anything that hides breakouts and under-eye dark circles, which are 100% a badge of honour. Never trust a person who doesn’t have under-eye circles. So anyway, I tried L’Oréal Total Cover, and congratulations to all of us: I didn’t need to pair it with concealer (because honestly, who can be bothered). It sat light, felt weightless and didn’t make my skin feel like I was wearing six layers of plaster so truly, we have all walked away winners — especially since I didn’t need to reapply it. Which I never remember to anyway, let’s be real.
INFLUENCER AND OWNER OF PLATFORM MEDIA
Right away I was impressed with this foundation. From the moment I squeezed it out of the bottle (the tip allows you to dispense cautiously, getting only what you need) to the way it smoothly glided over my skin, it is hard to not immediately fall in love. Pores instantly disappear, scars are covered and dark circles vanish. The finish is matte, but not too matte that you look like you are wearing makeup. Plus, the coverage is so good I didn’t have to use the five layers of concealer I typically do under my eyes. If you want #nofilter, #flawless skin, this foundation gives you exactly that.
FASHION AND LIFESTYLE BLOGGER
My favourite makeup look has always been the “no makeup” makeup look, and having flawless skin plays a very important role in making the look work. I find that using a great foundation is key and I always look for something with ample coverage that’s still light and easy to use. I was very impressed by how well L’Oréal Infallible Total Cover smoothed out my entire face, even when I only used a small amount. This product totally delivers that naturally airbrushed look that we’re all seeking and I love the demi-matte finish.
BLOGGER AT A PIECE OF ELISE
I am totally impressed by the L’Oréal Infallible Total Cover Foundation. The words “total coverage” normally scare me off, but this product was light and comfortable on my face. I love that it’s build-able to adjust coverage in areas where you might need, more or less allowing for a nicely finished look. It also covers imperfections on my neck where I have very sensitive skin. I would suggest applying carefully around eyebrow area as it does get caught in the hairs. All in all, it’s amazing!

Foundation is called foundation for a reason, it’s what can transform the skin and contribute to your overall look. It can mask dull and uneven skin to increase your confidence and help to combat any type of skin problem. I used to be really nervous to try out a new foundation. I thought that what I had been using worked well enough, so why bother switching? Thankfully I can take some of the guess-work out of it for others now, after trying L’Oréal Total Cover foundation.
I personally like to strive for porcelain-looking skin that’s photo-ready, so a full-coverage foundation is simply a must. I really like that this foundation has buildable, full-coverage. You can make it look as natural or glamorous as you like and it still feels weightless from day to night!
